I've been in prepress for 11 years. I've worked my way up from graphic reproducer, production manager to system admin (now). I think I've seen a fair bit, but, yesterday threw me a curly one. A new staff member was having trouble using Photoshop and his pix were looking very pixelated and grainy. This turned out to be the cameras very high ISO and very low resolution, but, was exasperated by some very contrasty Photoshop adjustments.
